A Book that I LOVED: The Light We Lost, Jill Santopolo

To say that this book is a fiery, heart quickening, delight would be an understatement.

Jill Santopolo's book The Light We Lost, tells a heartbreaking story of two star crossed lovers, who suffer from the delusion of love and who can't seem to find the balance between what the want, and what they have. From the second I picked up this book, I felt as though I was a fly on the wall in the lives of these challenging characters. I read this book start to finish, one gloomy Saturday, and felt as tired, emotionally, as a marathon runner, at the end of the day. Honestly, I don't think I've ever felt such an emotional toll in my personal, yet I felt everything these characters felt. This quick read, was brilliantly written and will make you laugh out loud and ugly cry, often. The characters are charming and lovable, except for one.... and will engage you so much that you are literally fighting for their successes.

I can not recommend this book enough!!! It is life changing, on a book level and will be something that you will want to revisit time and time again.
